In 2021 I photographed 50 weddings –  a mix of adventure elopements, smaller weddings and big mad parties. It was also a joy to capture two surprise proposals too.

I’ve always really loved seeing the different ways people celebrate – everything from crazy festival type parties, a nightclub-esque rave and incredible farm weddings. On the more low-key end of the spectrum, I love a chilled elopement where couples stay in amazing accomodation – a rustic cottages or a fancy holiday home – and we go off the beaten track and have their ceremony in a secluded forests or spectacular stretch of coast. I’m always exploring and love taking people to some of my favourite places.

Last year two brides wore their mum’s wedding dresses, and lots of brides went for the comfort option and chose footwear that just made them happy – cowgirl boots, holographic sneakers, converse all stars, white gumboots, thongs, and no shoes beach weddings too.

I throw everything I have into every single wedding I photograph, and I am truly grateful to every couple that puts their trust in us.
