ABOUT
Most couples tell me they're a bit awkward in photos.
That's normal.
The same couples usually tell me they love how relaxed and natural everyone in my photos looks.
One of the things I do well is shaping the day so there's time to celebrate, spend time with your people, and let great photos happen naturally.
I make sure you're not pulled away from all the awesome stuff you’re excited about.
At the end of the day, I usually hear the same thing:
“That was way more fun and much easier than I expected.”
I'm Luke
I’ve photographed more than 400 weddings. I love doing this for a living.
I get pretty excited when the light is hitting just right, and couples often tell me that energy helps them relax.
I’ll crack a few jokes along the way (without making it about me), and I’m always quietly keeping things running smoothly in the background.
The weddings I love feel easy and full of energy.
Sometimes that’s cocktails in the sun and a packed dance floor, other times it’s something more chill and stripped back.
There’s time to celebrate with your people, nothing feels rushed, and the day and the day isn't constantly being managed for photos.
A few things about me
I live in Dunsborough and spend most of my time shooting around the Margaret River region and the wider South West.
One of my photos is the cover of a Tim Winton Book (very stoked about this!)
A quiet stretch of coastline is my happy place, and I’m always finding excuses to be outdoors.
I’m a bit of a weather nerd - I’ll probably spend more time thinking about wind and the chances of rain than you will. I can give you a zillion little tips like which side you should stand on for your ceremony so your hair and veil don’t blow across your face.
I know the quiet beaches we can head to for photos and I’ve always got a plan (a and backup) depending on the light, wind and weather.
Meet Kate
My wife Kate works behind the scenes as our photo editor and album design guru, keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring a fast, smooth delivery of your images.
When she’s not on a coastal walk, she’s usually baking, drawing, or playing around with pottery - pretty much anything creative.
Let’s chat about your wedding
If you want a relaxed day, minimal interruption, and photos that feel like what actually happened - I reckon we’ll get along well.
Tell me a bit about your plans and I’ll send through more info, pricing and some relevant recent weddings.
Easy.
