I have a relaxed documentary style and I like to think I’m pretty chilled and fun to be around.
There’s a couple of points in the day where I will direct and set up photos - a little bit during your final preparations, photos with your wedding party + portraits of the two of you.
Other than that I like to let the good times roll and capture the real moments when you’re excited, nervous, mad happy and partying with everyone.
All you have to do is to enjoy your day – I’ll make sure I capture all the celebrations and joy of your wedding.

I live in Dunsborough, Western Australia and mostly photograph weddings in the Margret River region, with a couple of weddings around Manjimup, Pemberton, Denmark, Albany and Perth each year.
I really like travelling and I’m able to shoot your wedding anywhere in Australia and internationally.
We have previously lived in several places overseas and our photos have been published in books, travel guides and magazines. I love seeing new stuff so get in touch and we’ll see what we can do!
-
Yes. We love designing wedding albums and can also help with large framed prints.
There’s more info on our wedding albums here.
-
Definitely - you have the same final edited photos that I have. You can print your photos wherever you want.
If you want the best quality, I can organise prints through professional print labs.
-
For a full day of wedding coverage you can expect to receive between 450-500+ photos.
These are minimum numbers and there's no limit on what I deliver - larger weddings with lots going on get more photos that chilled and intimate celebrations.
All photos are fully edited, high resolution files that are ready to print.
Your photos are delivered via a password protected online gallery.
You can download your complete collection, give your friends and family access to your gallery, select your favourites for an album and order prints. Your gallery will remain online for 2 years.

Yes. For all of the photos you receive, we adjust white balance, contrast, exposure, remove spots and crop. We also convert some of your photos to black and white (B&W).
Everything is consistent with the style of photos you can see on our website.
We don’t provide B&W and colour duplicates of all of your photos. We ask that you trust our selection – but in saying that, once you’ve received your photos if there a couple of extra ones that you would like in B&W that’s not a problem at all.
-
Of course! This is a really important part of the wedding day.
Before your wedding, we’ll create a list of family photos together. This helps things run quickly and smoothly on your wedding day.
-
Working off a checklist of photos can make the day pretty tricky. I like to be present in the the moment and anticipate emotion, so constantly referring to a shot list isn’t really my style.
But if there are particular photos you want (or don’t want) – definitely let me know and we will work together to make sure you are stoked with your wedding photos.
-
No. I delete some photos – test shots, where people have their eyes closed and where I take several photos in a series I’ll only give you the best.
-
If you’re having a wedding party (bridespeople/groomspeople), I like to spend about an hour with you and your wedding party between the ceremony and reception – plus travel time between locations.
If it’s just the two of you, then about 40 minutes works well for photos.
It’s easy and fun when we’re taking photos, and some of the best photos are candid moments while we’re just hanging out somewhere special.
Usually I prefer to take photos at your venue or very nearby - that way you get to maximise the time you spend with your guests.
It’s also good when you organise an esky/drinks – it’s a fun way to kick off photos and get everyone relaxed and celebrating.
-
I’ll deliver some sneak peeks within a few days.
Your full gallery will be ready within 6 weeks maximum. Depending on our workload I will try to get them to you faster if possible – I know you can’t wait to see them!
-
I use professional Canon camera bodies and lenses.
-
Yes and yes. I have $10 million public liability insurance, and all of our gear is insured too. I have backup equipment with me at all times, so if something terrible was to happen I can keep shooting.
If your venue needs to see a copy of my public liability insurance, just let me know and I can send through a copy.
-
Great wedding videos are amazing – I can send through some recommendations for videographers if you’d like.
Most videographers are awesome, but there’s a couple with a very different style to me, and it can be tricky for both of us to work together. I’m more than happy to explain this to you in more detail in person.
-
I prefer not to have a second photographer for a bunch of reasons. I don’t find them necessary and I actually think they make your wedding feel like a bit more of a production by having extra people following you around with cameras!
I also find it’s nicer for your guests to just have one photographer - I’m less noticeable, and the vibe is more low key. I still capture heaps of natural moments of your guests, it’s never been an issue for me.
