Ellen + Richo’s Ellensbrook House wedding.

I met Ellen at her twin sister’s wedding last year – Hannah + Joan | Boranup.

It was one of my fave ever weddings, so when Ellen + Richo got in touch I knew their wedding was going to be something special too.

The plan was for a backyard reception at Ellen’s family home, nestled in the forest in Margaret River.

There’s always an awesome vibe with backyard weddings, and it’s really cool that two of the four Jackson sisters have had their wedding receptions at the family home.

Of course Ellen and Richo wanted a ceremony location that was unique to them, and the grounds at the historic Ellensbrook House were perfect.

Ellensbrook is one of the original farm settlements in the Margaret River region – the homestead dates back to 1857.

A laidback ceremony rolled into everyone kicking on back at home – woop woop!
