KIRSTEN + JONTY | Siesta Park

Kirsten + Jonty had one of the best back yards you could ask for when it comes to throwing a wedding.

Or maybe it was more of a front yard beach wedding.

Their family holiday house sits right on the beach at Siesta Park, with no fences between neighbours and a lawn the size of a football field rolling straight down to a long, quiet stretch of Geographe Bay. Pretty dreamy.

Their wedding had that relaxed, summer-holiday feel.

Family and friends helped bring it all together - Jonty’s family built the marquee and outdoor bars, his cousin was their celebrant, and Kirsten’s dad casually drove the newlyweds up the beach in a vintage tractor.

Their dog Mallee roamed around freely all day, soaking up pats and snacks.

Add in Kirsten’s cousin Ros baking their wedding cake and a mate’s band bringing the live tunes.

I love weddings that are a little DIY—fun and laid-back, super personal and everyone chipping in.
