KIRSTIE + PAUL | Bunker Bay
Kirstie + Paul threw a mad party and they got married too.
Kirstie rocked cowgirl boots and wore her mum’s wedding veil - she’d spent the last year embroidering it with a custom leaf motif with the help of her aunt and mum. Kirstie’s mum baked their wedding cake too.
They got ready in separate wings of a huge beach house overlooking Bunker Bay, had a relaxed first look, and then Paul hung out with everyone on the beach.
Their best mate friend Sian surprised everyone by secretly studying to be a wedding celebrant and crushed it with a very funny, heartfelt and loose ceremony. Paul’s sisters and heaps of mates flew in from the UK and all over.
After their ceremony, Kirstie and Paul made sure they had heaps of time to celebrate with everyone. This is always my favourite part of a wedding - there’s so much joy in the air, drinks were flowing and tunes were pumping.
Everyone was dancing and going loony as Shmone killed it with his live tunes at their reception - looping guitar, beats and live sax together.
I’ve been mates with Kirstie + Paul for ages, it’s hectic shooting your friends’ wedding, and it’s also a very special thing too - so good!
